The 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) special task force that was set up in 2015 to investigate the company's misconduct was essentially an illegitimate body, the High Court told.
Datuk Seri Najib Razak made this assertion during cross-examination at the 1MDB trial in Putrajaya on Tuesday (Jan 21).
