House Passes Rules for
Trump Impeachment Inquiry.
The resolution passed 232-196
with no support from
House GOP members.
The Democrats' impeachment process against President Trump will now move into the next phase.
This includes having
public hearings which
were previously held private.
Lawmakers' votes will
be counted on for further impeachment process.
Trump himself will also now formally be involved in the inquiry.
Democrats lamented at their decision, but say the president
needs to be held accountable.

Trump is under scrutiny for allegedly asking foreign countries to investigate political rivals.
The information was revealed by a whistleblower, who says Trump made requests to the Ukraine in July.
