Voting for 403 constituencies across Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry begins. While in Tamil Nadu, the 233-seat battle would be between chief minister J Jayalalithaa and her opponent, DMK’s M Karunanidhi, Kerala polls will be decisive for the CM Oommen Chandy as well as his political rival VS Achutanandan in the fight for 140 seats.
