A female orca became stranded on rocks in British Columbia’s Hartley Bay on Wednesday, July 22, as she hunted for seals during the low tide. According to a local eyewitness, a team of volunteers and researchers spent six hours working to help the killer whale before finally freeing the animal and releasing it.
