British royal couple the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited St. John the Evangelist Church on Sunday in Mumbai and met the war veterans and Indian Defense staff on Remembrance Sunday.
Remembrance Sunday is a tradition that started after the First World War to remember British servicemembers who have died in war and to honor those wounded.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are the first British royal couple to commemorate Remembrance Sunday in India.
After attending the church services, the royals met Indian Defense staff and spoke to a war veteran.
Prince Charles and Camilla are on nine-day visit to India.
The royal couple are due to spend five more days in the country before traveling to Sri Lanka to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Colombo.
