The Virginia Tech Hokies will travel in ACC conference play to face the Miami Florida Hurricanes in an NCAA college football game set for Saturday afternoon.

Kick off time from Miami is set for 7PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN.

Miami enters play at 7-1 and had their first loss of the season last week in a 41-14 road decision to the Florida St Seminoles as a +21 point underdog. The game finished under 64 points. Miami was down just 7 at the half then get outscored 20-0 in the second.

They put up just 275 yards with 83 rushing for 3 yards a carry. Stephen Morris completed 16 of 28 passes for 192 yards with two touchdowns and two picks. The Hurricanes had trouble moving the sticks converting 4 of 11 on third down. On defense they give up 517 yards to the Seminoles offense with 192 to their running game for 4 ½ yards per attempt. Each team committed two turnovers. Miami couldn’t defend third down as FSU is successful on 11 of 15 tries.
