Client: Mtv Director: Richard Knights Production: Mtv MTV Europe and director Richard Knights kindly invited us to create the VFX and technically supervise the shoot for the biggest event in their summer calendar, Isle of MTV. Set on the sunny island of Malta, we sent our VFX supervisor kicking and screaming to help them film a string of stunning locations providing the backdrop. After the initial design stage where we developed the look and texture, the other-worldly sonic shells were lit and rendered using bespoke HDRI panoramas photographed at each spot, allowing us to accurately match the surroundings with little fuss.
